About ana
Hi, I’m Anastasiia (Ana), the creator of MovesWithAna, a dance teacher, choreographer, and creative director based in New York City.

With over 14 years of dance experience and more than 8 years teaching, I’ve helped women from diverse backgrounds discover confidence, elegance, and power through movement. My dance journey began in Russia, where I trained intensively in contemporary, jazz-funk, hip-hop, house dance, and received foundational training in Vogue dance. I have competed successfully on national and international stages.
1st Place Contemporary Dance Solo at the Meteorite Dance Festival, earning a Grand Prize and an invitation to perform in Italy
Some of my key achievements include:
Former member of the BrickHouse NYC Hip-Hop XPro Crew
Grand Prize Winner in jazz-funk awarded by Mattio Tutzolino (Italy)
Multiple top-10 finishes with dance teams across styles such as jazz-funk, hip-hop, and house
This diverse competitive background, especially my deep focus on contemporary dance floor work and plasticity, shapes my unique style today. I blend professional technique with fluidity and emotional expression to create a powerful, feminine movement experience.

High heels dance, my true passion, has been transformative for me. It allows me to fully embrace my femininity, sensuality, and strength. Through high heels, I feel connected to my body and my power as a woman, and I love helping others unlock that same energy.

In addition to teaching, I work as a creative director, bringing dance and music video productions to life through movement and storytelling.

I moved to NYC to turn my passion into a mission: to build a supportive space where women can grow, express themselves, and celebrate their individuality through dance. My classes are more than just choreography, they’re about feeling, evolving, and owning your confidence with every move you make.
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced dancer, I’m here to guide, support, and celebrate your journey.

Let’s move together
Anastasiia
